Nutricap Labs Featured In Newsday As One Of Long Island's Up and Coming Companies

of too many businesses lately. But at Nutricap Labs in Farmingdale, the story has
much different.

Sales at the privately held vitamin manufacturer rose last year to about $17 million, according to Nutricap, from about $200,000 in 2005, when they started counting sales. The company was founded in 2003. And Nutricap made Inc. Magazine's
recently released list of the 500 fastest-growing companies in America this year,
coming in at number 42.

"They [Investors] have been beating down the door", said Jason Provenzano, Nutricap's 39-year-old President and Founder. "We've been contacted by at least three dozen private equity firms hoping to buy into Nutricap, and possibly take it public."

"I tell them right now I'll take their information, but if this is not something that is going to take us to an entirely different level, I wouldn't do it," said Provenzano, the son of a racehorse jockey. "This is my baby."

Nutricap is what Provenzano calls a "one-stop shop" for retailers and e-commerce websites that want to order vitamins in bulk without having to deal with bottlers, labelers or others. Nutricap, he said, does it all.
